The winter season is upon us, and with it comes the possibility of inclement weather affecting school opening. We understand that our decision to open or close schools in bad weather has a big impact on families. The safety and security of our students and staff is our highest priority. State law requires that all students have proper vaccinations, or they will not be allowed to enter or continue in school. Each student enrolled in the Mulvane Public Schools must file documentation of his or her immunization status. This is done by filing a Kansas Certificate of Immunization (KCI) form signed by a physician or local Health Department official.
